amfAR goes far with fashion thanks to Emily Blunt.

Sometimes (not often) I come across fashion that just wows me. A piece of perfection that stops me in whatever I'm doing, and completely captivates me. Thanks to Emily Blunt's fiery gown and sparkly accessories, I'm feeling that right now.

At the 2010 amfAR against AIDS gala in Cannes, Miss Blunt wore a tomato red Georges Chakra Edition gown with a silver clutch and matching bracelet, and kept her makeup very old-Hollywood glamorous with lined eyes and a striking red pout.

I love all of the detail in this gown, especially the cut-out back and the modern cut of the neckline. It pairs so well with her stunning hourglass figure and toned arms. I'm also loving the fresh look of her hair, with light waves and gradual highlights, which compliment her classy look.

amfAR was founded in 1985, and has been committed to finding a cure for HIV/AIDS for the last 25 years. Please visit amfAR for more details on this growing epidemic, amfAR's accomplishments thus far, and what you can do to help.

Introduction

Hello! I thought I should begin with a bit of an introduction, seeing as most of you who stumble across this blog probably don't know me yet! I'm currently a student working towards my nursing degree. Though my career passion is in the medical field, I have a soft spot in my heart for fashion, and this blog is my little guilty pleasure.

This is me.

Danielle.

I live with my grandmother (who I'm sure would rather not be pictured), and my two cats.

Skitzo and Neko.

I'm working on many hobbies at the moment, including setting up an Etsy and an Ebay shop, where I intend to list handmade, vintage, and lightly worn items and accessories, and I make jewelry (particularly necklaces).

I currently do not have any items listed in my shop. I will update as soon as I have them completely set up. In the meantime, I will update this as often as I'm able to, and I hope you will add my blog to your bookmarks and feed to continue this journey with me.

Please feel free to ask any questions, I'd love to get to know you as well!
